Me-Made-May Day Five

Me Made May Day Five

Today, I wore Butterick 5032 to uni and my volunteer job. I had a pretty good day because I got an old Ralta portable hair dryer for free.

Ralta Hairdryer Case

I love the case, it looks like a hat box.

Ralta Hair Dryer

I tried it when I got home and it still works.

Instructions

I think it's from the 60s based on the hairstyles in the little booklet that came with it.

  4. I'm too scared to buy vintage appliances in case they explode when I plug them in! How exactly is it 'portable'? Does it run on batteries or something?

  5. I love the print of this dress. I have a dryer just like that and I use it quite often. It actually works better than my newer one.

  7. Cute dress, and what a great find with the hair dryer. Do you think you'll actually use it? I've always been tempted to try out one of those!

  9. Miss Emmi- No it doesn't run on batteries, I think they just put in the booklet it's portable because it's easy to carry around in the case.

Trisha- I think I will use it or at least try it out and see what it makes my hair look like. I am pretty lazy when it comes to my hair though so I can't see myself using it all that often.
